German Tutor with more than 5 years of experience

My teaching style is interactive as well as student-centred and relaxed. I focus on two important skills – listening and speaking. All my classes are in German only (!) because it is simply the best and fastest way to learn. I teach from the very beginner until the intermediate level (A1-B2).

The first teaching experience I made during my volunteer year (2013-2014) in Hanoi. I spend the mornings supporting the teachers of Trung tâm Sao Mai, a school for disabled children. In the late afternoon, I taught English to children between 5-12 years at Cung thiếu nhi Hà Nội.

From 2014 to 2018 I studied Culture and Languages of Southeast Asia at Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main. After receiving my Bachelor Degree I moved to Ho Chi Minh City. Since 2018 I live in Vietnam together with my husband and daughter working part-time as a sales for a tourist company.

During my university time I taught Vietnamese to fellow students with major Southeast Asian Studies and prepared them for their A2 exams. 2017 I did a 3 Month intern at the German Centre in Ho Chi Minh City. Although I had the opportunity to continue I decided not to. Teaching big classes and never had enough time for the single students bothered me, I prefer to teach private/small groups. Since 2018 I am working part-time as a sales in a tourist company in Ho Chi Minh City.
