TeachMe is a matching platform: profiles are supplied by tutors and reviewed before they appear; reviews are moderated; tutors’ personal phone numbers and emails are not published on profiles. This page explains what the system does and what parents should still check themselves.
Tutor profiles
- Tutors create or edit a profile through an account; new or changed profiles stay pending until an administrator reviews them.
- Each profile states subjects, areas, experience and the hourly fee entered by the tutor.
- Very short profiles that lack basic information or useful content may be kept out of search-engine indexes.
Reviews
Submitted reviews are moderated before they are shown. TeachMe does not display invented ratings; if a profile has no reviews yet, no score is shown.
Protecting personal data
- Parents and students reach tutors through the tutor request form; tutors’ personal contact details are not displayed on public pages.
- Account pages, dashboards and forms are excluded from search results.
What parents should confirm themselves
Profile information is supplied by tutors. Before starting, ask about qualifications and relevant experience and book a trial lesson, as described in how to choose a tutor. If you see content that looks inappropriate, use the contact / request page to tell us.
