An A-Level tutor works one-to-one with a student on each A-Level subject (AS and A2), focusing on deep understanding, past papers and the writing skills that earn top marks. Find tutors by subject and area in Ho Chi Minh City on TeachMe.
How A-Levels are structured
A-Level usually takes two years: AS Level in the first year and A2 in the second, graded A*–E depending on the exam board (Cambridge International or Pearson Edexcel International). Students typically take three subjects, and universities, especially in the UK, make offers based on predicted or achieved A-Level grades.

How a tutor helps
A tutor finds where marks are being lost, builds a revision plan around the exam timetable, practises past papers and shows how to structure long answers for maximum credit. If you are still choosing a pathway, see IB and IGCSE.

Frequently asked questions
Should tutoring start at AS or wait for A2?
AS content feeds directly into A2, so early help in demanding subjects such as Maths, Physics and Chemistry avoids a pile-up later.
Do tutors work on past papers?
Yes. Tutors commonly use past papers and mark schemes to show how marks are awarded and which errors recur.
What do A-Level tutors charge?
Each tutor publishes an hourly fee on their profile; see the statistics on the tutor fees page and confirm the fee with the tutor.
