Experienced Vietnamese teacher – available teaching English and Vietnamese

Hi guys,

I’m Alice (Thao). I’m a native Vietnamese speaker who can speak both Northern and Southern accents. I’m fluent in English and studied basic Chinese.

I have 7 years experiences working with travellers from all over the world. I also have experience working as English tutor for Vietnamese students. I have strong passion of travelling and languages.

I’d love to teach Vietnamese for anyone who is looking for Vietnamese tutor or teach English for English learners. I’m available in every weekdays evenings and weekends.
– Tuition fee: Competitive – 9USD per hour – one on one (you can choose 1,5 hr or 2 hr lesson) or 6USD/each – group.
– Time: every evening from 7pm – 9pm , Saturday, Sunday.
– Location: flexible

– Fun class: I will teach you creative English/Vietnamese! I will have some games that make our classes more fun and make it easier to remember what you learned.
– Tailor-made curriculum: I will base on your ability and interest to design curriculum just for you.
– I lived in Hanoi and now living in HCMC so I can speak both accents. I’m very good at Vietnamese and Han Viet (Vietnamese words converted from Chinese) vocabulary and grammar. I will help you learn and speak Vietnamese by the way Vietnamese communicate, not the way books teach you! I can show you the differences of 2 accents and teach you in the accent you prefer.
– I understand very well about culture of Vietnam and the differences between regions. Would it be more fun and interesting to learn language and know about its culture at the same time?
– I have experience working with many foreigners.
– I have worked in tourism industry for 7 years as well as travelled a lot in Vietnam. I know very well about scams and how to avoid it. You will have best advices when you travel to any destinations in Vietnam and I can also help you a lot to save your money while you travel.
