I am Dean Cueto with 7 years of work experience as an engineer and ESL teacher. I worked as an application and technical support engineer for 4 and half years in Emerson Climate Technologies and handled troubleshooting and application inquiries for HVACR systems in the production line and after sales.
After that, I worked for a year as Sales Operations Analyst for a Lattice Semiconductor doing price proposals and quotations.
More so, I have an accumulated 2 year experience as an ESL teacher. I recently took an IELTS test here in British Council, Ho Chi Minh city and got an overall band of 7.5. I was a former Ocean Edu teacher based in Thanh Hoa. There, I handled various English learners of all levels – kindergartens, kids, teens, adults and IELTS classes.

I am an ESL Teacher with 2+ years of experience both online and class room set-up.I worked for 9 months in an English center in Thanh Hoa province. Now, I am working for more than 10 months in Ho Chi Minh as a private tutor teaching a range of subjects in English such as Math, Science, Geography, Literature, and History. Furthermore, I am teaching IELTS Courses to students who aim for Bands 5 - 8. Just recently, a former student of mine had his IELTS test. We were expecting an overall band of 5 but he got a 6. We were so elated!

I prepare lesson plans for various levels of English learners – kindergarten, kids, teens, adults and IELTS students. Then, execute those lessons in the syllabus and course outline to the class ensuring students’ interest when learning in class through interactive games and activities. More so, I create flash cards and teaching materials for better lesson retention especially for very young learners. I develop customized written and speaking tests for every class and level. Lastly, I evaluate the students' progress after every course. And to further hone my skills, I attend and facilitate marketing activities done inside and outside the center.
As a tutor, I'm very patient and understanding. i made sure we are studying and having fun at the same time. Should there be hurdles, I tend to step back, see the whole picture and thoroughly understand the learning process of each student.
