Teaching experience

I have been teaching english to primary school level kids in government public schools in Ho chi Minh City for the past 3 months. I have taught all primary school grades from 1-5 (ages 5-10). I have taught kids general english, math and science for all grades. I have taught all skill levels from beginner to advanced. I have taught varying class sizes, from 20 all the way up to 45 kids. I also have a 120+ Hour in person TESOL certification.

Teaching approach

My teaching style is engaging and low key. I think that many kids will find my demeanor quite comfortable to work with. The most important aspects of english I try to develop are conversational and pronunciation. To me, fluency is more important than accuracy. I want my students to develop their ability to engage in conversation with native english speakers, and to use improvisational skills to get through difficult situations.
