PASSIONATE CHEF/TEACHER for Viet, Thai, Western, Italian Cuisine

My name is Josephine. I have had a passion for food for as long as I can remember. I would like now to put my knowledge and experience to those who also share the same passion.
I will bring all my knowledge and experience in my teachings along with the important task of teaching a student how to procure specific ingredients in order for the basis of a dish. From this I will also share some history behind the dish and explain as to why it is the dish that has made it so popular and delicious throughout the nation and the world.
I would love the opportunity to share my passion with you, and happy to have the opportunity with meeting with you to discuss what you would like from the lessons with me. I am very fun and creative when it comes to cooking. And it is always such a rewarding experience to be able to cook. I do put a touch of my personal side in what I do along with a bit of a modern touch, but it is never done without keeping the authenticity of a dish!

I have been in the F&B industry for over 25 years, I have owned and personally run the kitchens in all 4 of my very successful restaurants, both in Australia and Vietnam. Recently I thought about teaching my recipes and sharing my passion with those who also have the same love for food. I have experience in the set up of a restaurant, specifically the kitchen aspect, through to menu creation and procuring all ingredients. I am able to teach and share my recipes in Western, Thai, Vietnamese and Italian cuisine.

Cooking has been my passion and career for most of my life. I am both creative and exciting when it comes to cooking. Although I do like to modernise and personalise a dish, there is a strong element to authenticity in my recipes. I incorporate precise and clear lessons for the student which will allow the student to learn easily and understand the techniques. Most importantly I also like to bring in the aspect of history about the cuisine and dish that I am teaching. It is not just learning to cook a certain recipe but a whole learning experience so that when the student cooks a meal for themself or for a dinner party etc, it then becomes a while experience for the diner.
